The collaboration allows indoor growers to access quotes on a wide range of insurance, from basic workers’ comp and liability insurance to stock throughput and business auto insurance, and has even created a first-of-its-kind “comprehensive container farm” insurance. InterWest Insurance’s agents are well versed in indoor agriculture, meaning less of your precious farming time is used explaining your needs to them.

- Container and Equipment coverage up to a $85,000 limit
- Inventory (growing crops) at a limit of $5,000
- Business Income with Extra Expense
- Special Form
- Equipment Breakdown
- $1,000,000 Liability Limit
- Blanket Additional Insured coverage for lessors & landlords
What’s the Cost?
The coverage package is available at a premium of approximately $1,500 per container for up to five containers. Those farming more than five containers will be serviced on an individual basis by InterWest Insurance agents. Offers and pricing will depend on state, the nature of a specific risk, and coverage needs. Subject to underwriting review and approval.
